Displaying and protecting your prints Mounting Prints can be mounted onto a variety of substrates suitable for short and long-term use. Mounting materials come in a variety of colors, sizes up to 60" wide, and thicknesses up to 1". Face-mounting is a contemporary alternative to framing by which your print is mounted behind clear acrylic (Plexi-glas) using an optically clear adhesive. While protecting it from moisture and UV damage, the glossiness of the acrylic enhances the richness and depth of your image allowing it to truly stand apart. Mounting Substrates: Komatex (pvc), Biodegradable Foamboard, Acid-free Foamboard, Gatorboard, Gatorplast, Plexiglas, MDF, Wood, Aluminum, Magnetic Sheeting Mounting Adhesives: Acid-free, Solvent, Optically Clear Lamination Laminating adds years of durability, and protects against UV damage, scratches, and moisture to any displayed print.
